Clos Volagré

CLOS DE VOLAGRE

The AOC Montlouis-sur-Loire is famous for its White Chenin. In biodynamic growing since spring 2008. This wine is now available and sold.

The Clos de Volagré vineyard is located on the hills of AOC Montlouis on a flinty clay soil (sol argilo-calcaire). 80% of the vineyard is from old vines which are more than forty (40) years old.

With a short cut of four (4) spurs per vine, grapes mature really well. All year round, careful attention is given to each and single vine and to the soil.

Organic growing reinforces the vine's root system and the flavours are then deepened.
